October 2018 Update

Net Worth October 2018

Currently sitting at about $61,600 net worth (overall including HECS debt) which is a $14,200 increase from September, yay.

A number of things happened in October:

• I did my tax return and noticed my super and HECS amounts were updated:
  • Super increased from $17,000 to $25,000
  • HECS debt decreased from $33,000 to $29,000
• I managed to save $2,000 in October from my salary
• I received a sum of $1,000 for my birthday
• I purchased $3,000 worth of the A200 ETF when it was trading at about $95 per share
• Other shares haven't changed much
• Started talking to a mortgage broker about finance for a potential house (to live in). Not rushing at the moment because I believe we will be able to find a good bargain within the next year (Brisbane).
